The Bayside Business Association celebrated its 25th anniversary with the annual Golf Classic on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Clearview Park Golf Course. The founding members of the organization were felicitated at the dinner that evening.
At the dinner, awards were given to individuals who contributed to the development of the organization. Among these recipients are Robert Klein, Judith Limpert, Frank Scordo, Douglas Callahan and Rick Ritacco. Limpert also received a Community Achievement Award.
“I can’t say enough how indebted this organization is to Judy and how hard she worked,” said Ed Probst, president of the Bayside Business Association. “She fought for Bayside for 25 years, she did it for free. It was all voluntary. She has put her heart and soul into this organization. Without her, we definitely wouldn’t be here and she continues to fight for Bayside.
In addition to honoring the founding members of the organization, awards were given to those who achieved excellence in the Golf Classic. Among the top performers of the event are recognized
This year marked the organization’s 21st Golf Classic.“We’re in growth mode right now,” Probst said. We are trying to find ways to continue to invest back into the organization and help businesses in Bayside grow. We continue to look for ways to grow the organization and give back to Bayside, and that goes to all of you, and we thank you all for being here.
