Champion Health Partners, Hall of Fame Health Introduces Tiger Legacy Care for All Alumni-Athletes – LSU

Baton Rouge, LA – Champion Health partners LSU Athletics and Lady of the Lake Health join forces with Hall of Fame Health to provide all graduate student-athletes with access to world-class care through Tiger Legacy Care.

With Tiger Legacy Care, all LSU athletics alumni and their families have access to the Hall of Fame Health Behavioral Health Network indefinitely. This access extends to graduates of all 21 varsity athletic programs at LSU, ensuring that the world-class care they receive during their collegiate careers continues for the rest of their lives.

“Ladies of the Lake Health is committed to providing the best possible care for LSU athletes, preparing them to perform at their best during competition and lead a lifetime of healthy life,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kathryn O’Neill. Originally developed by the Pro Football Hall of Fame to provide healthcare solutions to former NFL players and their families, Hall of Fame Health offers a full range of mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse services.

Through this partnership, LSU will be the first university in the country to offer lifelong behavioral health services to every former athlete and their immediate family in areas of focus such as stress and emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and PTSD. , more.

The program will be funded by the Tiger Athletics Foundation’s Our Lady of the Lake Programmatic Support Fund for LSU athletics, which was created through the Championship Health Partnership announced in February. Additional support is provided by the National L-Club, LSU’s national letter-winning association.
