Local designers will present their coolest apparel at this free, fashion-forward event in The Yard at Bayshore, 5800 N. Bayshore Dr.
The chic fun takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 am to 6 pm with fashion shows happening at 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm Reserved seating is available for each show.
Locally based vendors will be on-site, selling their wares. Other activities include a children’s design area sponsored by North Shore Homes where kids can make their own piece of jewelry, create a fashion illustration and use various fabrics to create mini apparel pieces.
Food will be available from Sazon Dominicano, Kalibre Tacos and vegan food truck, Twisted Plants.
Fashion Fest MKE strives to include a diverse group of designers, models and business owners, thus organizers partnered with Mount Mary University’s fashion department.
Fashion Fest MKE will also offer a scholarship to a local student attending a Wisconsin college or university and pursuing a fashion degree. Donations for this initiative from organizations and individuals are currently being accepted.
