- Billionaire Mark Cuban says Gen Z understands the importance of mental health.
- “That’s why he thinks they’ll go down as the greatest generation,” he told the Adam Grant podcast.
- Baby Boomers are considered the most “sad” generation, Cuban said.
According to billionaire Mark Cuban, Gen Z will go down as “the best generation” because they consider all factors when making decisions, including the impact on their mental health.
“I think that’s pretty cool, and it’s very similar to when I was starting out and technology was just happening or the Internet was being created,” the Dallas Mavericks owner told the “Re:Thinking with Adam Grant” podcast.
“The boomers will go down in history as the most disillusioned generation, from sex, drugs and rock to where we are today.”
The billionaire said that “magnifiers” born between 1995 and 2010 value “mental health balance” just like his children.
He added, “I think organizations need to understand more and more as we go forward. Not only how you treat your employees, but also what your customers expect.”
Cuban previously told Justin Kahn’s “The Quest” podcast that zoomers valued digital goods more than any other generation.
Gen Z has also adopted a new way of working called “Quiet Stop” to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Gen Xers might call it “slowing down” or “coasting,” while Millennials might say “it has limits.”
