Travel healthSan Mateo, Calif. Based payment and insurance workflow automation platform for mental health provider groups has closed a $2.7M seed funding round.
The round was led by the Lionheart Ventures founding collective, Jack and Max Altman of Altman Capital, Matt Brezina of Ford Street Ventures, Snapdocs CEO Aaron King, Okta CEO Frederic Kerst, former Salesforce Chief Strategy Officer Clarence Soh, former One Medical VP of Operations Rich Mendez et al. Trek Health’s board of directors will be joined by Shelby Clark, a venture partner at Lionheart Ventures and Turo, the world’s largest car-sharing marketplace.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and leverage its business reach.
Led by CEO and Founder Dilpreet Sahota, Trek Health provides mental health providers with a platform integrated with EHR systems, including rapid claims reimbursement, automated claim generation and submission, and payer enrollment across 900+ insurance networks. The company serves a wide range of clients throughout the United States, including inpatient mental health rehabilitation centers, outpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient psychiatric facilities, and venture capital mental health startups.
