Virginia Tech’s defense was also a presence as BC’s offensive line embarrassed the quarterback six times for a loss of 45 yards overall. Leading the way was DL Taijun Garbutt and his two sacks. Those were Garbott’s first sacks.
Virginia Tech’s win dropped them to 1-1, while Wofford’s loss dropped them to 0-2. We’ll see if Virginia Tech can repeat their recent success or if the Terriers can bounce back and reverse their fortunes.
