Princess Charlene of Monaco turned Paris Fashion Week into a royal affair. The famously stylish royal made a surprise appearance on the front row of the Akris Spring/Summer 2023 show on Sunday – the brand has long been in demand for the Mongasque royal. Naturally, she looked stunning in an unmistakable pair of navy pants and a matching jacket with military detailing. She teamed the look with an envelope clutch and a pair of black pumps from Akris, as well as her signature platinum pixie.
After the event, Charlene shared a post on her Instagram where she spoke with Akris creative director Albert Krimmler and congratulated the Swiss brand, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
“Thank you Albert for a wonderful evening and congratulations on 100 years of perfection,” she captioned the post.
The show marks her first major public event since she and her husband Prince Albert joined royals from around the world to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in London last month. Following the death of her beloved monarch, who celebrated his 70th year on the throne earlier this year, Charlene shared another social media post expressing her grief upon hearing of the Queen’s passing.
“I am deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose hard work and service has been recognized throughout the world during her 70-year reign,” she wrote alongside a photo of the late King. . My thoughts today are with her family, her children, her grandchildren, her grandparents and the people of England.
