Skye Duquette, Georgia Tech’s vice president and chief human resources officer, is one. Atlanta Business Chronicle 2022 Emerging Leaders Class in Atlanta. The publication recognizes the stars who are making their mark in their industries and leading the way in their communities.

“It is incredibly humbling to be a part of a group that has been honored for their positive contributions to Atlanta so early in their careers,” said Duquette. “I put down my roots here, Atlanta is my home, and I always want to do what I can for the city and its institutions.”

Duquette joined Georgia Tech in January. Under her leadership, Georgia Tech HR is committed to building and supporting new HR models to align with the Institute’s strategic plan and reflect the diversity of the Georgia Tech community. Offices reporting to Duke include Total Rewards and Salaries, Human Resources Business Partners, Labor Relations, International Human Resources, Employee Experience, Student Employment, and several administrative support departments.

Duquette’s experience includes nearly eight years in Atlanta Public Schools, leading the organization through dramatic improvements following the 2009 testing scandal. In Human Resource Roles in Urban Educational Contexts.
