The famous sports car brand debuted its spring-summer collection in its third fashion show.

Ferrari, the world-renowned Italian race and sports car brand, presented its third ever fashion show with the brand’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection.

Ferrari branched out a bit from the fashion label they started modeling in their first and second shows. This time, creative director Rocco Lannone wanted to mimic Ferrari’s human body on the terrace.

Where the first collection was focused around the automotive world, and the second was focused around high-tech futurism; This scene was ripped to reflect the man behind the wheel of the Ferrari.

Lannon started the show at the Teatro Lirico in Milan. Centering the entire show in the human world.

As the looks walked the runway, we saw a combination of clothing, workwear and racing gear to showcase the diverse souls who use and love Ferrari.

Tailoring, workwear and racing gear were on display, but the ankle palette tied them all together. Monochromatic looks, bold repeating patterns and fresh color tones were the streamlined features of the collection.

The ankle-length silhouettes play a bit with classic masculine and feminine styles while being paired with skirts and leather coats and can be worn as a skirt, coat or waistcoat.

The look combines the clothes of the different types of people who use Ferrari, and the materials of the collection reflect that combination.

Silk, cotton, jacquard wool, jersey and glove leather are woven together to change runway collections each season. All while focusing on the high-quality Italian craftsmanship that is the backbone of the Ferrari brand.

In addition to the high-quality materials in the show, the looks used low-impact materials and treatments to create social and environmental awareness in the fashion industry.

Ferrari has only worked with partners and suppliers who have been certified to adhere to major global sustainability standards.

With three shows under their belt, only time will tell if Ferrari’s bid to dominate fashion as a sports car will be successful.
