My condolences to anyone at Microsoft who has been tipped off about a possible major layoff. Microsoft is the latest tech giant to cut thousands of jobs in recent months, following layoffs at the likes of Meta and Amazon.
In lighter news, Samsung is making more parts and manuals available through iFixit, allowing DIY repairers to fix Galaxy S22 devices a year after launch. So when the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup launches in February, if your Galaxy S22 is on the grid, you have the option of trying to repair it yourself instead of upgrading your device (repair shops will of course remain an option).
