Hokies prepare for Tennessee Intercollegiate Bank.

blacksburg – The Virginia Tech men’s golf team will travel to Jonesboro, Tennessee, Sunday, October 9th through Tuesday, October 11th to participate in the 24th annual Tennessee Intercollegiate Bowl.

The defending East Tennessee state champion will host the 15-team 54-hole tournament at Blackton Club. Three teams participating in the tournament are currently ranked in the top-50: No. 26 Georgia Southern, No. 37 Furman and No. 48 Cincinnati.

Last year, the Hokies shot a 12-under 852 to finish in ninth place. Connor Burgess Tech shot a school-record 8-under 64 in the final round to finish ninth.
