Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – Life is Beautiful kicks off Friday in downtown Las Vegas and businesses are sharing how to prepare for the big crowd.
“We’ve doubled our staff, we’ve doubled the ingredients we usually prepare, we’ve made sure the food is ready, so we can go out to our customers,” said Steven Rogers, Flippin’ Good assistant manager.
“We’re hiring and saving,” said Samantha Bundy, general manager of Evel Pye.
Downtown businesses like Flippin Good and Evel Pie are ready to serve up a lifetime of beauty to all who come to the area.
“We’re going to have a great pop-up bar outside so you can get your pieces ready to get warm and ready,” Bundy said.
“We usually have happy hour from 3 to 6 and we’re extending it to 7 and we’ll have a small corona or five bucks,” Rogers said.
Both businesses said Life is Beautiful will help bring in more money.
“We really need this, and it helps the business after everything that’s going on in the world,” Rogers said. “Business has slowed down a little bit, but this should really help and grow footfall in the whole downtown area.”
“Tons of business and people experience our city unlike other festivals where they move to some of the suburbs,” Bandy said.
Downtown businesses are expected to stay open late throughout the weekend to accommodate those attending the event.
