Head coach Brent Pr
Opening statement:
“I don’t have much. As always, I want to thank the fans for coming to Pittsburgh. I thought it was a great turnout for the Hokies. We’re excited to come home and have Miami here this weekend. Maroon effect. Sold out crowd. So excited for the crowd. We’re talking about Miami in the locker room. “We started talking post-game. We’re excited to get rolling. We had a good couple of days, Sunday and Monday.”
Under the pressure to win at home:
“I don’t know. The message in the narrative is not about more pressure. We don’t talk to the guys like that, we usually talk about how it’s a new week to improve as a team, to improve individually and as a staff. Here’s the perspective: I talked to the coaches and players on Sunday about the lessons I learned. They’re throwing. Week after week, we’ve got to take what we’re learning and make it a part of us. Cloth. I think there’s a level of excitement with Miami coming to town, it’s a home game, a big crowd and homecoming. A level of excitement that our guys look forward to. he said.
Defensive lineman Jaylen Griffin
On his decision to return this season:
“It was tough. Going through labrum surgery was tough on my mind. I had a few rough patches. I know it’s rough. My guys prayed about it, and I decided to come back. I’m blessed to be here.”
He sees the positive half of the season-
“I’ve seen through all of this chaos, we’ve all still managed to stick together. We’ve still managed to stay strong. In the past, that wasn’t always the case, but we’ve stuck together. We’re close and we’re seeing each other. It’s frustrating knowing what we could have, but We need to execute plays and execute when your number is called.
