SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – When you hear the name Patinkin, you may immediately think of Broadway or The Princess Bride, but what about Wagyu beef? Vermont Wagyu held its 4th Annual Wagyu Beef Livestock Auction in Springfield. People from all over the world came to find more than 70 livestock to participate in person and online. Vermont Wagyu, like many other Vermont businesses, has been hit hard by recent shutdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic and has been forced to look for new ways to offer their premium beef products to sustain the business and support farm families. The Patinkin family came together to create a thriving e-commerce business that reached consumers across the country.

Sheila Patinkin, owner of Vermont Wagyu, said, “It has grown the business tremendously and incredibly, and I’m so thankful that I was interested in advertising and I’m so excited to be a part of a family business at this point.”

Vermont Wagyu is gearing up for the busy holiday season and sending out gift boxes loaded with locally sourced ingredients.
